January Coverage for Recent Automation Project

This month we’re proud to have been included in a four-page feature in top industry publication Food & Drink International. The article focuses on the shift to automated functions in roles that were traditionally human operated.

As small, medium and large companies further expand into the global market, it becomes an essential part of their business strategy to integrate automation to meet deadlines and bulk orders, ultimately increasing profit. The introduction of robotic elements allows for flexibility and is ultimately the link in the production chain that allows for advanced acceleration and optimisation.

Improving efficiency and profit

At UPM Conveyors we’re experts in conveying automation to improve the efficiency and output for a range of businesses, including food and drink manufacturers.

The particular project included by Food and Drink International is our work with Tim’s Dairy where we provided and installed the systems required to allow the production of 200 tonnes of yoghurt per week. When we delivered the unit, it was ready for immediate operation.

Currently, we can reveal that Tim’s Dairy, based in Chalfont St Peter are considering further automation in conjunction with our team.
